Standard Flow Foot Valves D25 D13

The Standard Flow System is the most popular inertial pump. This system is best suited for 2" monitoring wells and can provide lifts up to 150 feet. Flow rates can be as much as 1 gallon per minute.

Product Description

The system consists of two components – a Standard Flow footvalve and a length of 5/8" OD Standard Flow high density polyethylene (HDPE) tubing.

The most commonly used footvalve is the 1 inch OD, acetal thermoplastic D-25. Optional footvalves include the stainless steel 3/4" OD SS-19 and the 5/8" OD D-16 and SS-16.

The Standard Flow System can be used in wells of varying diameters and a variety of sampling environments. Optional tubing includes linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) (Canada only) and Teflon (FEP).

recommended devices
The Standard Flow System can be manually operated in most wells. Performance can be improved with the addition of the Waterra Lever Pump (WLP 100). Enormous performance improvements are realized with the use of the Waterra Hydrolift II or PowerPump 2.

well development
This system can also be adapted for well development by installing a SBD-25 Surge Block to the D-25 footvalve. This device causes the pump to simultaneously surge and pump, removing fine material from the well and well screen.
