FLOWATCH is designed for measuring wind and water flow with ease and accuracy. the Flowatch Kit comes with a collapsable carbon rod, which contains an attachment for a variety of measuring sensors. At the tip of the rod is either a water flow or air flow impeller, along with a thermometer.

The speed measurement principle of the Flowatch is based on magnetic transmission. The turning impeller creates a magnetic field that is detected by the Flowatch . If the Flowatch is close to a another magnetic field (from a computer, electronic appliance, etc…), it may display unexpected values but only if the impeller is not turning.

Includes: Display unit, long carbon rod,

1. The LCD display head.

2. A 2 meter carbon rod that collapses into three sections, for storage purposes. A wire inside the rod connects the display head to the water, or windspeed,impeller and thermometer at the end of the rod.

3. Different interchangeable impellers-for measuring air and flows. Standard Vane lmpellers: air & water 25mm air impeller, 60mm water impeller, and carrying case

Also available: A 15 meter sounding cable,with waterspeed impeller,to water flow from bridges, etc. A small windspeed unit,to use the FLOWATCH as a handheld windmeter.

For scientific/industrial purposes,the unit will stay on for 36 to allow statistical measurements forextended periods. Shutoff is then automatic.

Replaceable long life Lithium battery.
